Another Wind Power Installation Ship Under Construction! CIMC Raffles Grab New Opportunities in Offshore Wind Power Field

On the morning of February 14, CIMC Raffles began cutting the First steel plate in CIMC Haiyang Shipyard for the Jack-up Wind Power Installation Vessel built by CIMC Raffles for Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huaxia Financial Leasing"). Relevant responsible leaders of Huaxia Financial Leasing, China Classification Society, Marine Design and Research Institute of China, and representatives of various departments of CIMC Raffles attended the Opening Ceremony of the project.

The project is a self-propelled jack-up wind power installation vessel, with a length of 139 meters, a width of 50 meters, a depth of 10 meters, a 1,500-ton pile-wrapping full-swing crane (working radius of 45 meters), and a 250-ton full-swing crane on the starboard side of the bow. It is mainly used for the installation of offshore units and equipment of 15MW and above, also the foundation construction of offshore wind power installation, with a maximum operating water depth of 70 meters; The ship is fully electrically driven, designed for a speed of 9 knots, with DP-2 level dynamic positioning capability, can sail in unlimited navigation areas, and the living area can fit the residence of 120 people, and is qualified into the China Classification Society.

As a leading provider of offshore engineering equipment and offshore platform builder in China, CIMC Raffles has seized the opportunity of global offshore wind power development and actively promoted the offshore clean energy strategy, and obviously made a number of significant progress and received numerous of important orders.
