Ten Deliveries, Ten Commitments – Successful Completion of the Zodiac PCTC Series at CIMC Raffles

On September 8, 2025, CIMC Raffles held the delivery ceremony of “Jisu Glory” at its Longkou base. This vessel is the tenth 7,000 CEU DF PCTC built for the world-leading shipping company Zodiac Maritime. As the final vessel of the Zodiac PCTC series, its delivery marks the successful conclusion of a three-and-a-half-year, ten-vessel construction program jointly undertaken by CIMC Raffles and Zodiac Maritime.

On September 2, 2021, CIMC Raffles and Zodiac Maritime signed an EPC contract for a series of 7,000 CEU dual-fuel PCTCs. This marked not only the beginning of a deepened partnership between the two companies, but also CIMC Raffles’ entry into the high-end PCTC sector, opening a new chapter of breakthroughs.From the delivery of BYD Explorer No.1 on January 8, 2024, to the handover of Jisu Glory on September 8, 2025, CIMC Raffles and Zodiac Maritime have successfully completed the consecutive delivery of ten 7,000 CEU dual-fuel PCTCs. The journey from “exploration” to “proficiency” has been made possible through close collaboration across all parties.This milestone not only demonstrates CIMC Raffles’ professional expertise in PCTC construction, but also reflects our steadfast commitment to delivering on promises to our clients.

Looking back on the construction process of the 10-vessel series, the CIMC Raffles team has always tackled challenges with a striving spirit. Whether it was devoting days and nights to studying technical details in the workshop or staying committed to debugging equipment parameters at the dock; whether it was breaking down departmental barriers and sharing responsibilities to overcome technical bottlenecks, or conducting full-chain collaborative operations to advance efficiently amid delivery pressures – it is this spirit of "daring to take on tough tasks and determined to win" that not only ensured the on-schedule delivery of all 10 vessels but also forged a mature technical system and an efficient collaboration model through the cooperation. These achievements have accumulated valuable experience for future high-end shipbuilding projects.
