The Marintec China 2019 held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from December 3 to 6, 2019. Adhering to its consistent purpose of "leading" the industrial development, promoting the "interconnection" of industries, and facilitating the development and "strengthening" of the maritime industry. China international maritime exhibition is the largest maritime exhibition in Asia and the second largest in the world.
The theme of this exhibition was "Large Ocean, New Offshore", which highlights the upgrading performance of CIMC Raffles in recent years. CIMC Raffles Marketing Department, R&D department, Procurement Management Department and other representatives participate in the exhibition.
Meanwhile, CIMC Raffles held on-site signing ceremonies with its partners Siemens and ABS.
Li Minggao, Vice President of CIMC Raffles, and Bjoern Einar Brath, CEO of Siemens, signed the MOU on behalf of the two sides on Dec 4, as a continuation of the strategic cooperation agreement signed by the two sides in September 2018. The two sides agreed that they established a digital laboratory at CIMC Raffles Engineering Offshore Institute, which would be completed in June 2020. Compared with the DP3 closed-loop simulation laboratory jointly built by the two parties at the end of 2015, this laboratory will demonstrate Siemens' most advanced DC solutions, energy storage systems and advanced closed-loop solutions. At the same time, the laboratory can also be used for system operation training, a training base for Marine talents, would promote the localization of international core technology, to promote the key technology breakthroughs in China's Marine engineering power system.
On December 5, CIMC Raffles and ABS signed the new materials research and strategic industrialization agreement, launched the world's first new materials for composite application in Marine helicopter platform of the classification society guidelines, jointly developed the world's first set of helicopter platform used in ocean engineering based on the new composite materials, can be widely used in ocean platform, ocean fishing platform, urban high-rise building, medical equipment, general aviation market, etc., with light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, resistance to fatigue, refractory and heat insulation, low cost, multiple advantages.
During the exhibition, leaders at all levels and industry experts visited the booth of CIMC Raffles and appreciated CIMC Raffles ' achievements in the field of " Large Ocean, New Offshore ".
In the field of new Marine engineering, on the one hand, continue to consolidate and optimize the intelligent design of the drilling platform, and the platform operation on the basis of EPC of drilling equipment; On the other hand, gradually entered the production platform and module business to realize the combination of drilling and production, and successively obtained the production platform and module orders from mainstream customers such as Petrobras.
The Large Ocean field is mainly reflected in the extension of CIMC Raffles' diversified ocean area from ocean engineering to limited-related, and the company has successively entered new fields such as Marine fishery, offshore power generation, Ro-Ro and Ropax.
Through light box posters, electronic touch screens and videos, CIMC Raffles show the performance of the world's leading products.
Drilling platform. CIMC Raffles has already built and delivered 12 semi-submersible platforms since 2010, with a domestic market share of more than 80%. In 2017, it delivered the world's most advanced ultra-deep water drilling platform, Blue Whale 1, to undertake the important task in the country's first gas hydrate sea trial, and set two world records for the extraction and production of combustible ice.
Production platform and modules. In 2016, CIMC Raffles won the "HYSY 162" jack-up test production platform contract with CNOOC, realized the extension from "drilling" to "oil recovery". In 2018, it won the (FPSO) ordered of Petrobras oil. After 2019, it continued to win multiple module projects, making breakthroughs in the production platform and module business of global mainstream customers.
Marine fisheries. In 2016, CIMC Raffles delivered the country's first jack-up multi-function ocean farming platform. Up to now, CIMC Raffles has built and delivered 22 ocean farming platforms. In 2018, the company will undertake the largest and most advanced Norwegian Aquaculture vessel in the world, with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons of salmon. In 2019, the company delivered the most advanced "Long Whale No. 1" breeding cage in China, equipped with intelligent monitoring equipment.
Ro-ro and Ropax. In 2018, CIMC Raffles signed a contract with Bohai ferry for the construction of 2+2 Ro-Ro, currently the most versatile in Asia. In 2019, CIMC Raffles signed a contract with Swedish shipping Wallenius for 2+2 dual-fuel super Ro-Ro ships, which is the world's largest dual-fuel Ro-Ro and ice-class vessel.
